Dr. Harward has over 15 years of experience and has completed more than 12,000+ patient visits since establishing Millpond Family Dental in 2010. He grew up in the Cary area and earned degrees from both UNC School of Dentistry and ECU School of Dental Medicine.
He and his wife both grew up in this area and he is excited to bring this experience and love for dentistry to his patients at Millpond Family Dental. Our office is located on the corner of Ten Ten and Kildaire in Cary, serving families throughout Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, and greater Triangle area.

We measure gum pocket depths to check for signs of periodontal disease and perform an oral cancer screening by examining your tongue, throat, and soft tissues. Finally, we'll discuss any findings with you and create a personalized treatment plan if needed. Most patients with good oral health only need exams every 6 months, though Dr. Harward may recommend more frequent visits if you have specific concerns.
During your first visit at Millpond Family Dental, you'll be welcomed by our friendly and experienced team. We provide a comfortable environment and accept most major dental insurance providers. To make your visit smoother, you can fill out new patient forms online beforehand. Don’t forget to bring a valid I.D. and your insurance card.

Even if we can't complete full treatment on your first visit, we can typically provide an emergency evaluation, take necessary X-rays, provide temporary pain relief, and develop a treatment plan. Our emergency exam with X-rays is just $99 for patients without insurance. Dental emergencies don't follow business hours - if you have an after-hours emergency, call our regular number and leave a detailed voicemail or text, and a team member will respond to assess your situation.
